3D Printable: Shipping Container
A downloadable project
A fun little shipping container STL that I designed for a game of Gaslands I'm playing. It's stubby, because that's what I needed, but I've also included a longer version of the model in the files (which is literally just this model, but stretched. Is that lazy? Yeah, but it still looks good, so don't worry about it! ).
The doors are separate files, because I like to use these as little containers for my desk. I keep all of my greebles and bits inside of them! You can glue the doors on if you want, or you can leave them off and have it be a tunnel. I glue one side on and leave one as a lid. The doors only fit in a certain rotation, which means you will never accidentally glue one side on in one direction, and another in a different direction. They'll always line up, no worries.
Just like all my models, this is designed specifically for FDM printing. The doors do need some supports, but not many and they're pretty easy to clean up. I printed this on a Bambu A1 Mini using the "High Quality 0.08mm" preset settings and a 0.4mm nozzle. For supports I chose "hybrid tree".
Happy printing!
